We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Subcontracts Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire subcontracting process from development to execution, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as government regulations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in negotiating subcontract agreements, managing supplier relationships, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, resolving subcontract disputes, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for this role, as well as a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end subcontracting process, from identifying potential subcontractors to negotiating terms and drafting contracts.
  • Analyze and evaluate subcontractor proposals and make recommendations for subcontract award decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and company requirements throughout the subcontracting process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with subcontractors to achieve the best value for the company.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and adherence to contract requirements, and address any issues or disputes as they arise.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure subcontracting activities align with project objectives and timelines.
  • Participate in subcontractor performance evaluations and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in subcontracting to inform process improvements within the organization.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to subcontracting activities for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in subcontract administration within a government contracting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR).
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
