Senior Storekeeper

The Senior Storekeeper is in charge of managing and controlling the inventory for an organization. They are responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. The Senior Storekeeper also develops and implements inventory control procedures and ensures that stock levels are maintained accurately.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and products.
• Store materials and products in designated locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and track stock levels.
• Issue materials and products as per requisitions.
• Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and minimize stock losses.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
• Coordinate with purchasing and accounting departments to ensure accurate stock valuation.
• Train and supervise storekeeping staff.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory management.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures and systems.
• Proficiency in computerized inventory software.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
