The Senior Sales Engineer – Security Systems is responsible for driving sales and providing technical expertise on security systems solutions including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and integrated security platforms. This role serves as a bridge between the sales and engineering teams, working closely with clients to understand their needs, propose tailored solutions, and ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy professional with a strong background in electronic security systems and a proven ability to manage complex sales cycles.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets for security systems.
Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Conduct site surveys and client consultations to understand specific security requirements.
Design and present technical solutions using a range of security technologies (CCTV, access control, etc.).
Prepare and deliver compelling technical proposals and quotations.
Collaborate with the engineering and project teams to ensure successful solution implementation.
Stay current on market trends, new technologies, and competitor products.
Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for clients.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support as needed.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote company offerings.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, IT, or related field.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in sales or pre-sales of security systems solutions.
Strong technical knowledge of electronic security systems (CCTV, IP cameras, VMS, access control, etc.).
Proven sales track record with a consultative sales approach.
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in preparing system layouts and technical documentation.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Familiarity with industry standards and certifications is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
