Senior Procurement Officer

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and purchasing goods or services for an organization. They will collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs, analyze supplier options, and obtain competitive bids. The Procurement Officer will also monitor supplier performance, maintain procurement records, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs.
• Source and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery requirements.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and manage order fulfillment.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and industry trends.
• Maintain procurement records, including contracts and supplier information.
• Create and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and sourcing strategies.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
