Job Description
The Senior PHP Software Engineer - Laravel Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications using PHP and Laravel framework. They must have a strong understanding of software development principles and be proficient in PHP programming. This role requires expertise in Laravel framework and the ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy web applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using PHP and Laravel framework.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications and develop appropriate solutions.
- Optimize application performance and recommend improvements.
- Develop APIs and integrate external services into web applications.
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance and support.
- Stay updated on emerging PHP and Laravel trends, tools, and technologies.
- Participate in the planning and estimation of software development projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in PHP web development, with a focus on Laravel framework.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies.
- Experience with database systems, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
