Senior Mortgage Advisor

Responsibilities

• Provide expert mortgage advice to clients on various loan products and options.
• Analyze financial information to determine the feasibility and suitability of mortgage applications.
• Guide clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted accurately and promptly.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lending policies, regulations, and market trends.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other key contacts in the industry.
• Collaborate with underwriters and processors to expedite the closing process for clients.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional products or services to meet clients' financial needs.
• Meet performance targets in terms of loan volume, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
• Stay informed about changes in interest rates, loan programs, and industry trends to advise clients accordingly.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage advising or banking industry.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Accreditation such as Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) License preferred.
