Senior Internal Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimating Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects, analyzing project plans and specifications, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities, and providing expertise in cost estimation processes. The Senior Estimating Engineer will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure that estimates align with project requirements and budgets. Additionally, this role will involve conducting thorough research on materials, labor costs, and equipment prices to ensure competitiveness and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, along with proven experience in estimating for construction projects. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in estimating software are essential for this role. Responsibilities

• Develop accurate cost estimates for construction projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Review project specifications and drawings to ensure all requirements are accounted for in the estimating process.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for cost estimates.
• Analyze data and historical cost information to determine cost trends and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare and present cost estimates to management and clients, explaining assumptions and methodologies used in the estimation process.
• Participate in bid/proposal processes, including preparing bid documents and attending bid meetings when necessary.
• Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction process, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or variances.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and other industry professionals to ensure competitive pricing and quality service.
• Stay updated on market trends, industry best practices, and new technologies that may impact estimating processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools within the organization.
