Senior HVAC Technician

The Senior HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. This role requires expertise in troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC issues, ensuring optimal system performance, and complying with safety and industry standards. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in HVAC systems, strong technical skills, and the ability to lead junior technicians. This position involves working in various environments and handling complex HVAC projects efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, ventilation units, and heating systems

• diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC equipment and perform necessary repairs

• conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system efficiency and prevent breakdowns

• read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for HVAC installations

• ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies

• lead and train junior HVAC technicians, providing guidance on troubleshooting and repair techniques

• collaborate with clients and team members to assess HVAC system requirements and recommend solutions

• maintain accurate service records, logs, and reports on system performance and repairs

• manage and maintain HVAC tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory

• stay updated on new HVAC technologies and industry best practices to enhance service quality

Requirements:

• diploma or certification in HVAC technology or a related field

• minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC technician, with at least 2 years in a senior role

• strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components

• ability to troubleshoot and repair complex HVAC issues efficiently

• familiarity with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and HVAC industry standards

• excellent communication and leadership skills to mentor junior technicians

• proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools, gauges, and meters

• valid UAE driving license is a plus

• ability to work in various environments, including rooftops, mechanical rooms, and outdoor locations
