Senior Estimator

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our team. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing and submitting cost estimates for construction projects, including analyzing project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to accurately determine the scope of work and project requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, with a focus on determining material, labor, and equipment costs. Additionally, the Senior Estimator will collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure accurate and competitive bidding. Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills are essential for this role. A bachelor's degree in a related field and several years of experience in construction estimating are required. Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects based on drawings, specifications, and other project requirements.
• Analyze project documentation to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to refine project estimates and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and material pricing to support cost estimates.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, material costs, and market conditions to inform accurate estimations.
• Review subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to support estimating efforts.
• Provide support during negotiations with clients and subcontractors to achieve favorable project terms.
• Assist in the development of project budgets and cost tracking systems to monitor and control project expenses.
• Mentor and train junior estimators to enhance their estimating skills and knowledge.

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating for construction projects.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools such as Bluebeam or On-Screen Takeoff.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
