About the job
We are looking for a Senior Estimator with strong knowledge in Interior Fit Out Works. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for providing detailed budget estimates for interior fit-out, Loose Furniture, Timber Doors, and Joinery Works.
This is a full-time position based in Dubai, UAE.
We are hiring only candidates who have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a Fit-out and Joinery company and are currently in UAE.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope of joinery, wooden, and fit-out works.
- Calculating the cost of materials and labor required to complete the project.
- Conduct estimation and cost control activities to ensure projects stay within budget.
- Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of the project.
- Maintaining supplier/subcontractor database and consistently seeking new companies to pre-qualify for inclusion on the tender list.
Requirements
Skills & Requirements:
- A bachelor’s in civil engineering, architecture, or equivalent years of work experience.
- You should have at least 5-7 years of experience in estimation & costing with a Joinery and fit-out company. Minimum of 5 years in the UAE is desirable.(Residential Projects)
- High proficiency in numeracy and strong analytical skills. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
- Ability to read and have a good understanding of CAD.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
- Good interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills.
- Project management skills.
