Job Description
The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving the development and deployment pipelines for the company's software products. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve system reliability. This role requires a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, and containerization technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts.
- Configure and manage cloud-based infrastructure resources.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth code releases.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues.
- Implement security best practices across the development process.
- Stay updated with the latest DevOps trends and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Expertise in Linux administration and scripting.
- Proficiency in deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Certification in DevOps or relevant cloud platforms is a plus.
