Senior Credit Manager

As the Senior Credit Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the credit operations of our company. You will be responsible for evaluating and analyzing the creditworthiness of potential clients, developing credit policies and procedures, and managing a team of credit analysts to ensure timely and accurate decisions. Your role is essential in minimizing the company's credit risk while maximizing profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement credit policies and strategies that align with the company's objectives

• Conduct credit analysis on potential clients to determine their creditworthiness and make recommendations to senior management

• Monitor and manage the credit portfolio to minimize risk and maintain healthy credit scores

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, banks, and credit agencies to obtain relevant credit information

• Lead and manage a team of credit analysts, providing training, guidance and performance evaluations

• Work closely with other departments to ensure credit policies and procedures are followed and provide support when needed

• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on credit portfolio performance and trends

• Stay updated with industry regulations and make necessary adjustments to credit policies to comply with legal requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in credit management, preferably in the financial services industry

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proven leadership and team management experience

• In-depth knowledge of credit policies, procedures, and regulations

• Proficient in using credit analysis tools and software

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
