Senior Buyer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing high-quality materials and products at competitive prices. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, vendor relationships, and cost optimization strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Work closely with internal teams (such as inventory management, production, and finance) to align purchasing needs.
• Analyze supplier performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.
• Manage purchase orders (POs), invoices, and procurement documentation.
• Track and report key metrics to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on import/export regulations, tariffs, and trade policies affecting procurement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems and procurement software.
• Understanding of contract law, supplier agreements, and procurement best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
