We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer to join our team and lead our procurement activities. The Senior Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, products, and services to meet the company's operational needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement, a strong understanding of supply chain management, and excellent decision-making skills. Key responsibilities include maintaining supplier relationships, analyzing market trends, developing sourcing strategies, and ensuring cost efficiency and quality standards are met. The Senior Buyer will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize procurement processes and contribute to the overall success of the company. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to reduce costs and improve supplier performance.
  • Manage supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance regularly.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and terms.
  • Analyze market trends and industry developments to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as supply chain, finance, and quality to optimize purchasing processes.
  • Lead supplier selection process, including supplier evaluation, qualification, and onboarding.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods to meet production requirements.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering, alternative sourcing, or process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior buyers and purchasing staff to develop skills and knowledge in procurement practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other procurement software.
  • Understanding of market trends and analysis in the industry.
