The Senior Biopharmaceutical Representative will be responsible for promoting advanced biologic and specialty pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals across hospitals, clinics, and specialized medical centers in the UAE. This role focuses on building strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), driving product awareness, and ensuring sales performance aligns with corporate goals and UAE healthcare regulations. The representative will work within a fast-paced, highly regulated environment and play a critical role in educating the market on complex therapeutic solutions.
Responsibilities:
Promoting assigned biopharmaceutical products to physicians, specialists, and healthcare providers across designated UAE territories.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with KOLs, decision-makers, and procurement departments within hospitals and clinics.
Delivering scientific presentations, product updates, and clinical data to support prescribing decisions and product adoption.
Analyzing territory performance, identifying growth opportunities, and developing strategic action plans to meet sales targets.
Ensuring all marketing and promotional activities are compliant with UAE Ministry of Health (MOHAP), DOH, and DHA guidelines.
Collaborating with medical affairs and regulatory teams to address customer inquiries and ensure medical accuracy.
Participating in conferences, CME events, and medical symposiums to represent the company and enhance brand visibility.
Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, physician interactions, and competitor intelligence through CRM tools.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications are an asset.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical sales, preferably in biologics or specialty care, within the UAE.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and cultivating strong customer relationships in hospital or specialty care settings.
Solid understanding of UAE healthcare systems, procurement channels, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with scientific credibility and business acumen.
Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
Valid UAE driving license is required for field visits and client engagement.
Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is a plus.
