Senior Application Security Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Application Security Engineer to ensure the security of our software applications throughout the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, DevOps teams, and security professionals to embed best practices, conduct security assessments, and mitigate vulnerabilities in web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct security reviews, code analysis, and penetration testing for applications.

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the SDLC.

• Identify security risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Develop and implement secure coding guidelines and standards.

• Perform threat modeling and vulnerability assessments.

• Stay updated on emerging security threats, tools, and technologies.

• Automate security testing within CI/CD pipelines.

• Document findings and provide actionable security recommendations.

• Train developers and technical teams on application security best practices.

• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for application security breaches.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

• 5–7 years of experience in application security engineering.

• Expertise in OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, secure coding practices, and web/mobile security.

• Hands-on experience with tools like Burp Suite, Fortify, Checkmarx, or similar.

• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security automation.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
