Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a proven track record of ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting. Responsibilities will include preparing and analyzing financial statements, implementing and maintaining internal controls, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The Senior Accountant will also collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Oversee the reconciliation of accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations prepared by junior accounting staff.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Coordinate the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, as well as variance analysis.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
• Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, including management, vendors, and auditors, to address financial-related inquiries.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or auditing
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
