Scrum Master

The Scrum Master plays a crucial role in facilitating Agile project delivery by guiding development teams through Scrum practices, removing impediments, and ensuring that Agile principles are followed. This position acts as a servant leader and coach, helping teams continuously improve and deliver high-quality products efficiently. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, problem-solver, and advocate for Agile values, capable of aligning cross-functional teams and fostering a culture of collaboration and transparency.

Responsibilities:

• Guide the development team and organization in using Agile/Scrum practices effectively.

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Work closely with Product Owners to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized backlog.

• Shield the team from external interruptions and distractions to maintain productivity.

• Identify and remove impediments to the team's progress.

• Track and report on key Agile metrics, such as velocity, sprint burndown, and team performance.

• Promote continuous improvement and help teams identify areas for growth.

• Foster a positive, collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and accountability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.

• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile software development environment.

• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.

• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello.

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
