A Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling a company’s products or services to potential customers, helping to generate revenue and build lasting client relationships. This role involves identifying sales opportunities, meeting with clients, delivering presentations, and closing deals. The ideal candidate should be persuasive, goal-driven, and have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate the value of the offerings and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Identify prospective customers through networking, cold calling, and lead generation.
Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
Reach out to customer leads and follow up regularly to ensure a smooth sales cycle.
Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
Analyze the market’s potential, track sales, and status reports.
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, and competitive activities.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar sales role.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems.
Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, confident, and goal-oriented.
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
