Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Gemstone Sales Manager with a proven track record in sales within the high-end gemstone industry, with a focus on rare and exclusive gems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the nuances of the exclusive gemstone market, expertise in interacting with companies involved in the areas of gemstone certification, appraisal, insurance, storage and secure transportation.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Liaise with gemstone certification and appraisal entities to authenticate and validate the provenance and value of exclusive gemstones.
  • Collaborate closely with reputable companies specializing in secure transportation and insurance to ensure the safe and secure transfer of valuable gemstones.
  • Provide expert guidance and advice to clients on gemstone selection, value, and care, investment potential, and customization options
  • Hold individual negotiations with partners and undertake business trips to conduct exclusive meetings
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve sales targets
  • Stay updated on industry developments, emerging trends, and competitor activities


Requirements

  • Extensive experience in sales within the exclusive precious gemstone sector, demonstrating a track record of success in selling rare and high-value gemstones.
  • Profound knowledge of gemstone certification, appraisal, and authentication procedures, with the ability to navigate complex transactions with finesse.
  • A deep understanding of gemstone properties, identification techniques, and market trends
  • Experience in interacting with companies for appraisal, certification, insurance, storage, and secure transportation of gemstones
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade at all levels
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Willingness to engage in individual negotiations with partners and undertake business trips to conduct exclusive meetings
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, flexible, reliable, confident
