Job Description

A sales coordinator plays a key role in supporting the sales team by managing administrative tasks, coordinating with clients, and ensuring smooth sales operations. This role involves handling customer inquiries, processing orders, preparing sales reports, and assisting in marketing activities. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. They must be proactive in supporting sales strategies and ensuring a seamless customer experience.


Responsibilities:

  • assist the sales team in managing customer accounts and maintaining strong client relationships

  • process orders, invoices, and quotations while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery

  • coordinate with internal departments such as logistics, finance, and marketing to streamline sales processes

  • handle customer inquiries, provide product or service information, and follow up on leads

  • prepare and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and other performance tracking documents

  • support sales representatives in scheduling meetings, appointments, and client presentations

  • ensure all sales documentation, contracts, and agreements are properly recorded and updated

  • monitor inventory levels and assist in forecasting sales demand

  • assist in marketing activities, including promotional campaigns, events, and social media updates

  • stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to provide insights to the sales team


Requirements:

  • bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field

  • minimum 2-4 years of experience in a sales support or coordination role

  • strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and internal teams

  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software

  • excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail

  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

  • knowledge of sales principles and customer service best practices

  • experience in handling data entry, sales reporting, and documentation

  • proactive and self-motivated with a problem-solving attitude

  • familiarity with ERP systems and market trends is a plus
