Safety Officer

We are looking for a dedicated Safety Officer to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations across our operations. The role involves implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring workplace safety protocols are followed. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk management, and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities:

• develop, implement, and enforce workplace health and safety policies
• conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance
• assess risks and develop mitigation plans to prevent workplace accidents
• provide safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors
• investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions
• ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and standards
• prepare and maintain safety reports, records, and documentation
• collaborate with management and employees to create a culture of safety
• coordinate emergency response drills and first aid procedures
• recommend improvements to safety processes and workplace conditions

Requirements:

• bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related field
• minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a safety officer in construction, manufacturing, or industrial settings
• strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations and international safety standards 
• certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is highly preferred
• excellent communication and leadership skills to promote a safety-first culture
• ability to analyze risks and implement effective safety measures
