Job Description

The Retail Warehouse Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods within a retail supply chain environment. This role ensures optimal inventory control, timely deliveries, and streamlined warehouse operations while maintaining compliance with UAE logistics regulations. The manager will lead a team of warehouse staff, collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics partners, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

  • Managing end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and dispatch.

  • Overseeing inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels, reduce shrinkage, and ensure product availability.

  • Developing and implementing logistics strategies to support retail sales targets and seasonal demand.

  • Coordinating with suppliers, transporters, and retail outlets to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of goods.

  • Ensuring compliance with UAE customs, health, and safety regulations for warehousing and transportation.

  • Leading and supervising warehouse staff, including training, performance evaluation, and shift planning.

  • Monitoring KPIs such as delivery accuracy, lead times, and warehouse productivity to drive continuous improvement.

  • Managing warehouse layout and infrastructure to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency.

  • Handling logistics budgets, vendor negotiations, and contracts to control costs and improve service quality.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in retail warehouse and logistics management, preferably within the UAE.

  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics planning, and inventory control systems.

  • Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

  • Knowledge of UAE logistics regulations, customs procedures, and transportation compliance.

  • Proven leadership and team management skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve logistics challenges effectively.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for supplier coordination and internal collaboration.
