Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail store. As the Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for creating a positive in-store experience for our customers while driving sales and achieving business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the store including sales, customer service, inventory, and staff performance
  •  Set and achieve sales targets, monitor and analyze sales trends, and strategize methods to increase store profitability
  • Ensure the store is adequately stocked and visually merchandised to attract customers and drive sales
  • Create and maintain a positive, welcoming and customer-focused environment in the store
  • Train, motivate, and lead a team of sales associates to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Continuously monitor and improve customer satisfaction by resolving customer complaints and ensuring exceptional service is provided at all times
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase foot traffic and drive sales
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and feedback to team members
  • Maintain store standards and ensure a safe and clean working and shopping environment
  • Oversee store budget and expenses, and report regularly to upper management
  • Collaborate with upper management to set business goals and develop strategies to achieve them


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in retail management, with a proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing a team
  • Excellent leadership and customer service skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and team members
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret sales reports to drive business growth
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and POS systems
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Word
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as per store needs
