A Retail Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and sales performance of a retail store. They manage staff, maintain inventory levels, uphold customer service standards, and ensure the store meets financial goals. The Retail Store Manager also analyzes market trends and implements strategies to drive sales and profitability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage store staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee inventory management and optimize stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by training staff and resolving customer complaints.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and maximize profitability.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
  • Monitor store expenses and budgets to control costs and maximize revenue.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and merchandise displays to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
  • Implement marketing promotions and events to attract customers and drive sales.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in retail management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and KPIs.
  • Proven ability to exceed sales targets
  • Numerical accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and motivational skills
