Retail Sales Executive

The Retail Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service within a retail environment. This role involves understanding customer needs, recommending suitable products, and ensuring a smooth purchasing experience. Operating in a fast-paced, target-driven setting, the Retail Sales Executive also contributes to store merchandising, inventory management, and the overall presentation of the retail space, in compliance with UAE retail standards and consumer regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers, understanding their needs, and offering suitable product recommendations to drive sales.

• Assisting customers throughout the purchasing process, including product selection, payment, and packaging.

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products, promotions, and offers to effectively upsell and cross-sell.

• Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and solution-oriented manner.

• Replenishing stock on shelves and ensuring proper product displays and merchandising standards.

• Monitoring inventory levels and reporting stock shortages or excesses to the store supervisor.

• Participating in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets set by the management team.

• Ensuring compliance with in-store safety, hygiene, and customer service protocols aligned with UAE retail regulations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.

• Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in fashion, electronics, cosmetics, or FMCG.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.

• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive retail environment.

• Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.

• Presentable appearance with a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor.

• Fluency in English is required; Arabic or additional languages are an advantage.

• Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per retail business needs.
