Job Description

As a Retail Banking Officer-Multiproduct, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and promoting a wide variety of banking products to clients. Your role will involve assisting customers with their financial needs, including opening accounts, processing transactions, and recommending suitable financial solutions based on individual needs. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of various banking products such as savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and investment options. Additionally, you will work closely with customers to educate them on different banking services and help them make informed decisions regarding their finances. Successful candidates for this position should possess strong interpersonal skills, a solid knowledge of banking products, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to drive revenue generation and achieve sales targets.
  • Cross-sell and upsell various banking products and services to customers to meet their financial needs.
  • Process account openings, account closures, overdrafts, and other account-related activities efficiently.
  • Assist customers with loan applications, credit card applications, and other financial product inquiries.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct financial needs assessments to identify opportunities for personalized product recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies to mitigate risks and maintain operational integrity.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the bank to streamline processes and improve overall customer experience.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor products, and industry developments to provide informed recommendations to customers.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and service delivery skills.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail banking or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of multiproduct retail banking operations and regulations.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite.
