We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality. Responsibilities include assisting in staff training and development, monitoring inventory levels, and implementing strategies to increase revenue and profitability. The successful candidate will have previous experience in the hospitality industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist the restaurant manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth functioning of the restaurant.
  • Supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Monitor food quality and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory levels and order supplies to maintain sufficient stock for daily operations.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, and work towards resolving issues promptly.
  • Implement and enforce restaurant policies and procedures to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies to attract customers and increase sales.
  • Prepare work schedules and assign duties to staff members to meet operational needs.
  • Monitor financial transactions, including cash handling and POS systems, to ensure accuracy and accountability.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant manager to set performance goals and targets for the team, and work towards achieving them.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant industry
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
