Job Description

The Resident Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all engineering activities on-site at a residential construction project. This individual will serve as the liaison between the construction team, subcontractors, and the client to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.


Responsibilities

  • Manage engineering activities on-site
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Conducting regular inspections to assess construction quality and identify potential issues.
  • Managing contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Resolving technical issues and providing technical guidance to the construction team.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any engineering issues that arise


Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in residential construction
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
