Reservations Agent

We are looking for a friendly and professional Reservations Agent to manage bookings and provide excellent customer service for our hotel guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing room occupancy, managing guest requests efficiently, and ensuring smooth reservation processes while adhering to company policies and service standards.

Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming calls, emails, and online reservation requests.

• Enter reservations accurately into the system.

• Respond to guest inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Upsell rooms and promote special packages to maximize revenue.

• Coordinate with the front office, housekeeping, and sales teams.

• Ensure proper documentation and filing of reservations.

• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, rates, promotions, and policies.

• Resolve reservation discrepancies and manage no-shows and cancellations.

• Provide personalized service to enhance the guest experience.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reservation reports.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality preferred.

• 1–3 years of experience in a reservations or front office role.

• Proficiency in hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• High attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
