We are seeking a dedicated and articulate Reservations Agent who is fluent in Arabic to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing guest reservations efficiently and providing exceptional service while ensuring all requests and inquiries are handled in a timely and professional manner. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth booking operations and enhancing the guest experience through effective communication and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages regarding room bookings and availability in a courteous and efficient manner
Provide guests with accurate information regarding room types, pricing, amenities, and promotions
Confirm, modify, or cancel reservations as requested, ensuring all changes are accurately recorded in the system
Coordinate with other departments such as front desk and housekeeping to ensure booking details are aligned with operational needs
Maintain and update guest profiles and preferences to enhance personalized service
Upsell additional services and room upgrades when appropriate to maximize revenue
Address any guest concerns or complaints related to reservations, escalating complex issues to supervisors when necessary
Prepare daily reports on reservation status and occupancy levels for management review
Ensure that all guest interactions reflect a high standard of professionalism and hospitality
Adhere to company policies, data privacy regulations, and standard operating procedures
Requirements:
Proven experience in a reservations or customer service role within the hospitality industry
Fluency in Arabic and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with hotel reservation systems and property management software
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality or tourism is an advantage
