Job Description

As the Rental Car Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of rental car sales representatives to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service. Your focus will be on driving revenue growth and maintaining strong relationships with both corporate and leisure customers. This role requires a highly motivated and organized individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for sales.


Key Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of sales representatives in the rental car industry, providing guidance, support and encouragement to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue growth in the rental car sector.

- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address any issues.

- Manage the rental car fleet, ensuring vehicles are well-maintained, available for rental and properly priced.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective promotional campaigns to drive sales and increase brand awareness.

- Act as the main point of contact for corporate clients, building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

- Conduct regular sales training sessions for the team, sharing best practices and identifying areas for improvement.

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

- Handle customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner, finding solutions to maintain customer satisfaction.

- Prepare and analyze sales reports, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales management role, ideally within the rental car industry.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading successful sales teams.

- Strong understanding of sales techniques and customer service principles.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.

- Valid driver's license.

- Ability to work flexible hours and travel if required.
