Job Description

As a Relationship Officer in Corporate Banking, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with corporate clients to drive business growth and meet financial targets. Your primary role will involve understanding client needs, identifying opportunities for financial products and services, and providing expert advice on banking solutions. You will also be tasked with conducting financial analysis, preparing credit proposals, and ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for this role, as you will be liaising with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners to achieve mutual goals. The ideal candidate should have a background in finance, a solid understanding of banking products, and a proactive approach to building strong client relationships.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients to understand their financial needs and strategize solutions.
  • Analyze financial statements, evaluate credit worthiness, and prepare credit proposals for corporate clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as credit risk, legal, and operations to ensure seamless delivery of banking products and services.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote a wide range of corporate banking products to clients.
  • Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in all client interactions and transactions.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new clients, including documentation review and account opening procedures.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on client portfolio performance and business development activities.
  • Participate in networking events, industry conferences, and client meetings to enhance the bank's presence in the corporate banking sector.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate banking or relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate clients.
