Job Description
Registered Nurses are responsible for providing care to patients in various healthcare settings. They assess patient needs, create and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Registered Nurses collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best course of treatment for patients. They administer medications and treatments, monitor patient progress, and educate patients and their families on healthcare strategies and self-care techniques.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' health conditions and develop nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Coordinate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and preventive healthcare.
- Assist in medical procedures and surgeries.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or relevant field.
- Valid registered nurse license.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and provide emotional support in high-stress situations.
