Registered Nurse - Operating Theater

We are seeking a skilled registered nurse to join our team in the operating theater. The ideal candidate will provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The registered nurse will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of patients throughout their surgical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient's condition before, during, and after surgery
• Prepare operating room and assist surgical team during procedures
• Collaborate with the surgical team to plan and prepare for surgical procedures.
• Administer medications and anesthesia as directed
• Educate patients and families on postoperative care
• Monitor and maintain sterile conditions in the operating theater.
• Maintain accurate medical records

Candidate Requirements

• Valid RN license
• Previous experience in a surgical setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating theater setting.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Attention to detail and excellent critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
