Quantity Surveyor

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviewing construction plans, tender documents, and preparing quantity take-offs and estimates.
• Analyzing and evaluating project specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Scrutinizing costs related to materials, labor, and contracts to identify the most cost-effective solutions.
• Liaising with design teams, site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project objectives.
• Preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, tender documents, and contractual documentation.
• Documenting any changes in project designs or specifications and updating corresponding budgets and tender details.
• Advising clients and managers on cost-saving measures, value engineering, and innovative procurement strategies.

Job qualifications/requirements

• 8 – 10 years of experience working as a quantity surveyor in any GCC country.
• A Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Civil Engineering.
• Proficient in cost estimation, tendering procedures, and contractual management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to interpret and analyze complex construction plans and specifications accurately.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
