Position Overview
Work Permit Type: Part-Time / Temporary / Full-Time (Full-Time work permit after 3 months of 100% performance check as defined in company performance policy).
Work Setup: Field-based role with remote flexibility. Minimal office presence required, allowing work from various supplier locations across Dubai.
Location: Primarily field-based across Dubai, engaging directly with suppliers, including manufacturers, wholesalers, and importers.

Summary:
The Purchase and Supplier Onboarding Field Executive is responsible for expanding AQAD’s supplier network and ensuring the efficient onboarding of FMCG suppliers onto the AQAD mobile application platform. This role requires expertise in supplier relationship management, negotiation, and understanding of technology for supplier integration. Success in this role involves developing strong supplier relationships, ensuring smooth onboarding, and supporting suppliers in using the platform for effective inventory management.


Must-Have Skills and Expertise

  • FMCG Procurement Experience: Demonstrated experience in FMCG supplier onboarding and procurement processes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using mobile applications for inventory management and supplier onboarding.
  • Negotiation Skills: Skilled at securing competitive terms with suppliers and effectively managing procurement activities.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Excellent communication skills for building and maintaining strong supplier partnerships.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Able to address issues promptly and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supplier Onboarding & Relationship Building

    • Identify and engage with potential FMCG suppliers, presenting AQAD’s platform as a streamlined solution for inventory management and order fulfillment.
    • Conduct in-field training and demonstrations of AQAD’s mobile application, guiding suppliers through account setup and app usage.
  2. Account Setup & Documentation

    • Assist suppliers in account creation, ensuring all required documents are collected and verified.
    • Ensure suppliers understand platform features such as product catalog management, order tracking, and pricing adjustments.
  3. Supplier Account Management & Support

    • Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, providing ongoing support and resolving any issues related to platform usage or order fulfillment.
    • Monitor supplier activity on the platform, assisting with updates to product catalogs, stock levels, and pricing as needed.
  4. Data Analysis & Reporting

    • Track supplier onboarding success, fulfillment rates, and account activity, providing regular reports to the Head of Supplier Onboarding.
    • Collect and analyze feedback from suppliers to improve the onboarding process and enhance platform usability.
  5. Performance-Based KPI Achievement

    • Meet monthly and quarterly targets for supplier onboarding, successful transactions, and overall supplier engagement on the AQAD platform.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all procurement activities align with AQAD’s operational standards and business objectives.
  6. Supplier Training & Support

    • Provide training to suppliers on using AQAD’s platform for real-time inventory updates, order tracking, and payment processing.
    • Offer continuous support to ensure that suppliers are well-integrated and can manage their operations effectively through AQAD.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Basic Salary: AED 1,500
  • Transportation Allowance: AED 500
  • Meal Allowance: AED 1,000
  • Total Fixed Compensation: AED 3,000
  • Incentives: Additional performance-based bonuses based on supplier onboarding success, order fulfillment rates, and successful purchase negotiations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Supplier Onboarding Rate: Success rate in signing up and onboarding new suppliers.
  • Order Fulfillment: Consistent achievement of supplier order fulfillment rates.
  • Inventory & Catalog Management: Accuracy and timeliness of supplier product updates, pricing adjustments, and stock availability.
  • Customer Satisfaction: High levels of supplier satisfaction based on seamless integration and positive feedback.

Additional Duties

  1. Field Support for Suppliers:

    • Provide in-person support to suppliers for any issues encountered with platform usage, account setup, or catalog updates.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of retailer orders.
  2. Product and Application Knowledge:

    • Stay updated on platform features and functionalities, enabling effective support for suppliers.
    • Provide feedback to internal teams to improve platform usability and supplier onboarding processes.
  3. Promotional Campaign Coordination:

    • Work closely with marketing to ensure suppliers are informed of promotional opportunities on AQAD and facilitate participation.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in procurement, supplier onboarding, or FMCG supply chain management.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with mobile applications and account management tools for supplier support.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills for supplier relationship management.
