Psychologist

The Psychologist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating emotional, behavioral, and psychological disorders in patients across diverse age groups. Working within clinical, educational, or corporate settings in the UAE, the role involves applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques while ensuring confidentiality, empathy, and cultural sensitivity. The psychologist collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and adheres to local mental health regulations and ethical standards to promote overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations to understand client issues and mental health conditions.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans using therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, or psychotherapy.

• Providing one-on-one or group counseling sessions to address emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists, physicians, educators, or HR professionals to deliver integrated mental health care.

• Monitoring client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and maintaining detailed clinical documentation.

• Offering crisis intervention and support during emotional or psychological emergencies.

• Educating patients and families on mental health conditions and strategies for coping and recovery.

• Ensuring all practices are compliant with UAE regulations, including ethical guidelines and data protection policies.

Requirements:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Valid license to practice as a Psychologist.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.

• Strong expertise in psychological assessment tools and therapeutic interventions.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a high degree of empathy and cultural awareness.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language proficiency is a strong advantage.
