Proposal Engineer

The Proposal Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed project proposals in response to client requirements. They will collaborate with sales, engineering, and design teams to develop solutions that meet the client's needs and budget. The proposal engineer will also ensure that proposals are accurate, competitive, and persuasive to secure new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Review client requirements and project specifications.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to understand client needs.
• Develop technical and commercial proposals for client projects.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and project timelines.
• Create presentation materials to support proposals.
• Ensure proposals are accurate, comprehensive, and meet client expectations.
• Coordinate with the design team to include relevant drawings and specifications.
• Assist in contract negotiations and clarifications with clients.
• Update proposal templates and collateral based on client feedback.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a proposal engineer or a similar role.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet proposal deadlines.
