Proposal And Estimation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal and Estimation Manager to lead our bidding, pricing, and proposal development processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing cost estimates, and developing competitive proposals that align with client needs and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the proposal development process from initiation to submission, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
• Analyze bid requests, RFQs, and RFPs to determine feasibility, risks, and pricing strategies.
• Develop accurate cost estimates based on labor, materials, and operational expenses.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, finance, and project management teams to gather relevant information for proposals.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize pricing strategies for competitiveness.
• Review and evaluate vendor quotes, subcontractor bids, and market pricing trends.
• Ensure all proposals are professionally written, structured, and submitted on time.
• Track and report on bid success rates and continuously improve estimation accuracy.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of pricing, historical costs, and supplier information.
• Conduct risk analysis for projects and recommend mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in proposal management, cost estimation, or tendering.
• Strong understanding of cost analysis, procurement, and contract negotiation.
• Proficiency in estimation software, MS Office, and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
• Knowledge of industry standards, market trends, and regulatory requirements.

• Experience in construction, engineering, oil & gas, or manufacturing industries.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Primavera, or project scheduling tools.
