Project Engineer - Steel Fabrication

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the steel fabrication process from start to finish, ensuring quality and timely completion.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for steel fabrication projects.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Perform quality control inspections and tests on fabricated steel components.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during the fabrication process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the fabrication process.
• Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for steel fabrication projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support to fabrication team members.
• Review and approve project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in steel fabrication or structural engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, techniques, and industry standards.
• Project management certification such as PMP is preferred.
