The Project Bid Engineer will be responsible for preparing competitive, compliant, and technically sound bids and tenders for construction or engineering projects. This role requires strong coordination with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate bid submissions aligned with UAE industry norms.
Responsibilities:
Studying tender documents and analyzing project requirements.
Preparing technical proposals, BOQs, and cost estimates.
Coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and scope.
Preparing method statements, project schedules, and compliance documents.
Participating in bid review meetings and clarifications.
Ensuring bid submissions meet deadlines and client specifications.
Liaising with project teams post-award for handover and execution planning.
Keeping up-to-date with market pricing and competitor trends.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in bid engineering or tendering.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies and cost estimation.
Familiarity with UAE tendering laws and contractual frameworks.
Excellent skills in MS Office, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
Strong analytical, written, and communication abilities.
