Product Compliance Manager

The product compliance manager ensures that all company products meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards required by local and international authorities. This role involves monitoring industry regulations, developing compliance strategies, and working closely with product development, legal, and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, risk assessment, and product safety requirements. They will be responsible for maintaining documentation, conducting audits, and liaising with regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with industry laws and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• oversee product compliance with local and international regulations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards

• develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines for all products

• conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions

• collaborate with product development teams to ensure new products meet regulatory requirements before launch

• monitor changes in industry regulations and update internal policies accordingly

• maintain and manage compliance documentation, ensuring all necessary reports and certifications are up to date

• liaise with regulatory authorities, certification bodies, and industry organizations to stay informed about compliance trends

• provide training and guidance to internal teams on regulatory requirements and compliance best practices

• support the resolution of compliance-related issues, working with quality assurance and legal departments

• lead product testing and validation processes to ensure ongoing adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines

Requirements:

• bachelor's degree in regulatory affairs, quality assurance, engineering, or a related field

• minimum 5 years of experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or quality management

• strong knowledge of local and international regulatory standards relevant to the industry

• experience in working with certification bodies and regulatory authorities

• excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills

• proficiency in compliance management software and ms office suite

• strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
