Procurement Manager

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing, vendor management, and purchasing operations across our UAE business. This role is responsible for optimizing procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining quality and compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives

• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality materials, and favorable contract terms

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including RFQs, tenders, purchase orders, and vendor selection

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers

• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities and risk factors in the supply chain

• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, products, and services to meet operational needs

• Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and align procurement plans accordingly

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier evaluations

• Ensure compliance with UAE laws, company policies, and industry standards

• Lead and mentor a team of procurement officers and ensure continuous process improvement

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; CIPS certification is a plus

• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role

• Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills

• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics)

• Solid understanding of sourcing strategies, inventory control, and cost optimization

• Knowledge of UAE import/export regulations and logistics practices

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership capabilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage

• UAE market experience is required; regional GCC exposure is a plus
