Procurement Engineer

A Procurement Engineer is responsible for managing the procurement process for engineering projects. They work closely with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. The Engineer should have a good understanding of engineering specifications and requirements, as well as the ability to evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts. They should be able to identify potential risks or issues and provide effective solutions to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to determine material requirements.

• Issue requests for quotations, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Review and approve supplier invoices and resolve any billing discrepancies.
