As a Procurement Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement team with various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the procurement process. Your responsibilities will include maintaining procurement documentation, processing purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, liaising with suppliers, and assisting with vendor management. You will also be responsible for generating reports, analyzing purchasing trends, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and activities.
  • Assist in the sourcing and selection of suppliers.
  • Process purchase orders and confirm delivery schedules.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure procurement needs are met.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
  • Track and report procurement metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
  • Conduct market research and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Handle other administrative duties related to procurement as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and procedures.
