Job Description

A PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Engineer is responsible for designing, programming, testing, and maintaining PLC systems used in industrial automation processes. They work closely with automation engineers and technicians to ensure seamless operation of manufacturing equipment.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and program PLC systems based on project requirements
  • Test and troubleshoot PLC systems to ensure proper functionality
  • Document all programming changes and updates
  • Debug control programs and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Conduct tests and simulations to ensure proper system functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLC systems into existing infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to operators and maintenance personnel.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation solutions
  • Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel


Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
