Planning Engineer

We are looking for a detail-driven and experienced Planning Engineer to support project scheduling, progress tracking, and resource planning across our operations in the UAE. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing project timelines, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to gather inputs and update progress

• Monitor project timelines, milestones, and critical paths to ensure timely execution

• Analyze project performance and generate regular progress reports and dashboards

• Identify delays and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track

• Integrate resource, procurement, and cost data into the project schedule

• Support tender planning by preparing baseline schedules and methodology statements

• Conduct regular site visits to validate progress and support planning accuracy

• Ensure alignment of schedules with contract requirements and client expectations

• Participate in project meetings and provide planning insights to support decision-making

• Maintain documentation of planning processes, revisions, and historical project data

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

• Minimum 4–6 years of experience as a Planning Engineer, preferably in the UAE or GCC

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project is essential

• Strong understanding of project lifecycle, construction processes, and planning methodologies

• Familiarity with cost control and resource management principles

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder interaction

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulatory frameworks is preferred
