Piping Construction Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and review piping construction plans, designs, and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient execution of piping construction projects.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams to resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the piping installation process.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials and equipment required for piping construction activities.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, cost estimates, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure that all piping construction activities are completed within budget and according to schedule.
• Implement safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for construction personnel.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide updates on piping construction progress and address any concerns.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions or delays in the piping construction process.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in piping design and construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D modeling software, and other relevant engineering tools.
• Strong knowledge of piping standards, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
