Physician Assistant

As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide patient care across a range of medical settings. Your role involves performing various clinical and administrative tasks under the supervision of a physician to ensure the efficient delivery of healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Take patient medical histories and conduct physical examinations to gather relevant health information.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
• Assist in diagnosing patients by evaluating medical records, test results, and symptoms.
• Participate in developing treatment plans, including prescribing medications and providing recommendations for further care.
• Perform minor medical procedures such as suturing, wound care, and minor surgical interventions under the supervision of a physician.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Provide instructions for medication administration and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans.
• Assist in emergency situations, providing immediate medical care and support.
• Follow up with patients to monitor their progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and address any concerns.
• Stay updated on medical advancements, guidelines, and best practices through continuous education and professional development.

• Previous experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, patient care protocols, and clinical procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interactions and teamwork.
• Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health record systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with medical professionals in a fast-paced environment.
